dNaga was created in 2001 by Artistic Director Claudine Naganuma. dNaga’s mission is to perform work of cultural and political importance. Naganuma’s evolution as a dance maker over a period of nearly two decades shows the development of community, both in her work and as a leader in Asian American art’s community. Naganuma’s choreography offers a perspective on gender, race, age and health through her dances.
